DesignLabWorkshop has entered Shapeways 3D printing contest.

Facet Furniture combines 3D printed connectors with common building materials, such as wood dowels. The product range includes chairs, tables, storage units and lamps. Users can change a number of parameters to customize the furniture and adapt the connectors to the materials they want to use.

DesignLabWorkshop was commissioned by Mater to create a unique messaging system. Mater is a materials center in Barcelona, Spain that has resulted from the growing importance that materials have acquired in the development of a sustainable society and an innovative industry.
