In May 2011 Morphogenetic Studio was in Barcelona to do a short workshop on digital production at the Fab Lab. The task was to use digital generative techniques to make patterns that would be fed into a CNC milling machine. The material used was Alucubond, a laminated material consisting of aluminium and plastic. The milling allows the material to be folded into various shapes. The idea is to use the knowledge acquired from the actual production as feed-back to the form-generating processes.
